Judith Tellez, a 63-year old disabled woman was struck by a hit-and-run driver while crossing Old Highway 80 near her home. Her ex-husband said that the victim was going to the 99-cent store to buy gifts when she was hit by what witnsses describe as a Ford Expedition. The victim suffered a broken back, broken legs and a skull fracture after the accident. She was in coma before passing away.
