In an apparent suicide a man was struck and killed by a BNSF freight train in Riverside California. The accident occurred right at rush hour and caused many commuters hours of frustration. The victim was not identified. Witnesses have stated that the man deliberately entered the tracks shared by Metrolink and was hit by the freight train. Riverside coroner's personnel were scouring the scene for body parts and evidence.
