A Riverside California jury awarded a man $16.5 Million dollars in a verdict against a negligent doctor. The victim of the case injured his back in a off roading accident. The victim went to Desert Regional Hospital in Palm Springs for treatment. The doctor on call, Christopher Pham, was to report to the hospital within 20 minutes. According to evidence presented it took the doctor 2 days to complete the surgery on the victims back, which according to the victim's attorneys the delay caused the victim to become a paraplegic.
